I am also interested in obtaining round ball for my 38 special. I ordered a box of Hornady #000 buck from MidwayUSA and was very disappointed when I found out they are too small (0.350" ) so they just fall into the case.

PS anyone want to buy a box of 0.350" buckshot?

I shot thousands of round ball out of .38 special. I sized and primed the shell, a few grains of unique ... less than 3 grains if I remember ... then thumbed the .360 round ball in the end of the shell and squeezed the ball into the shell in a common bench vice making the ball flush with the mouth. We used to shoot these in the basement in a .22 boolit trap.
I have a Lee .360 round ball mould if you want to borrow it for a while.
