    Round Ball in 375 Ruger

Good- groups touching at 25 yards.

Bad- balls fell into and out of case when handled.

These are Speer .375 round balls, with 4.5 grains of Bullseye, no filler, no lube.

Seated halfway into the case and crimped.

It would seem the diameter of the balls is too small, is there a way to mitigate this?

Size your case neck a bit and roll those balls in LLA.

if theyre coated in LLA or maybe multiple coats they would probably stick in the neck for you better. could also powder coat but probably not worth it if its just for that messing around a bit.

I don't know what your bullet sizing die is but you could bump them against the bottom for a diameter increase if you were sizing to .378" or so. Being slightly oblong will not affect flight for the first 25-40 yards.

I don't size rifle cases often. I ground a 7 inch vise grip so the jaws are like a pincer. That allows me to put the slightest pinch at the base of where a projectile will sit - sorta like a 38 wadcutter cannelure.
