You will not be disappointed. My only complaint, the nose is so sharply pointed that I get some finning that has to be rubbed off with the finger nail.

It arrived today. I must say, it is the nicest looking mold I have. Very well made.

I love it, but it fins really badly. Please let me know if you cast without fins, I have tried various temps, direct contact bottom pour and various distances from the spout and I have even tried laddle pours. So far, the best I have found is a direct contact pour, lead and mould hot and tolerate the fin. If I do not direct pour, both bullets end up with a cavity on one side.

But, the darn thing really works well!

got mine this week and already plan on a casting session Sunday morning. Got a few others to cast so will heat cycle it a couple times. Been a challenge to find molds that will work with a 300 BLKOUT. Bullets that look good just have a little to much nose diameter to cycle properly. Hope this one works.

Tried the 31-165C in mine, actually works pretty good. Same nose profile as 31-142C PB that works well.
    Whatever!

I would hunt with the C309150F if the accuracy was there. It feeds fine in my bo-as well as the C312155. The Harris boolit shot the best but groups are twice the size of my jacketed loads. So I've shelved the cast bo project. Even if the 155 shot tight-it's not a hunting boolit.

Check out Accurate's 31-150W. I asked Tom to make it and he did, saving for it now. It is the Lyman 311414 with a .18" meplat. Should make a good hunting bullet that will feed well.
