Couldnt find my pictures at first.
Does that look like leadon the sides, it's not the same color as the carbon .....

Sounds like the timing might be off.
If it's a load on the lighter side, I've noticed powder flakes hit me before. It can happen with any load, but is much more noticeable on light, or dirty burning loads.
That doesn't look too extreme.
Do you have a range rod to confirm cylinder alignment?
Are the firing pin marks centered on the primers?
Mal
Mal Paso means Bad Pass, just so you know.
I placed cardboard next to it and fired 12 rounds. No lead, but flects of lube. I use ls carnuba red. It’s a fairly warm round of 2400 powder @ 1250 FPS.
The primers are struck centerish, not perfect, but as close as I’ve ever seen on a revolver.
I do have the yellow thingy and will check it out.

How about barrel/cylinder gap? Friend of mine bought a gp100 that did the same. He called Ruger and he ended up sending it back. IIRC the cylinder/barrel gap was about .002" less
