Can you help a feller out?

Can anyone recommend an on line site to purchase Feather brand double edge razor blades. The last business I dealt with has regrettably, closed. (Thank you Lynn..)

I normally use a straight. but when I'm rushed, I use a safety razor with Feather blades. I can buy them locally, at $1.00 per blade, but I was buying them on line for $5.00 / pkg of 10.

Can anyone direct me to a reputable on line source that you use (or have used) where I might find Feathers at a more reasonable cost than I can find locally?

    Thanks guys,
    Bob

.25 per blade with free shipping. Of course, Amazon and Ebay have them but when possible I prefer dealing with a company direct.

I admit I always buy mine on ebay, but I use the red label personna's. Tried the feathers but my stuble kills them after two shaves.

Lots of places selling them. Thing is, there are better blades out there.

Here is another source. I have had very good experiences ordering from them. Their prices for the Feather blades range from 38 to 50 cents each depending on the quantity.

So what's the best? I wish we could get some old Gillette Super blues, they were the first blades I could get a complete shave from. I would gladly shift to an old double-edge razor (I have one) if I could get good blades for my rough beard...

Lot of folks like those blades. But best is face and razor dependent. Best to try a few.

At West Coast Shaving you can build a sample pack of the blades mentioned here for $12.39 with free shipping.

Several years ago I bought about 20 packs of 5 ea. Wilkinson blades for 50 cents a pack. They work fine for me, I have a short full beard but do shave my neck and cheeks. After buying those I dug out an old Gillette razor that I bought in the 70's and started using it again.

That opened a can of worms, I started collecting old razors, mostly Gillette double edge. I would have to count them but I have 35-40 plus a couple of other brands and some accessories. Anyone else here collect them?

Great company. Great selection and he always throws in freebie blades to try.
Get a sampler pack and see what works best for you if you haven’t already.
I like feather but feel that personna med prep blades cut just as smooth and last longer.

as each production lot of blades is going to be different, you can only try blades out.

And if you buy blades in bulk, youll get a surprise if you take 3 packs and take two random blades and try them out. SO easy to get a good blade and a bad blade that way.

I was going to mention Amazon as well. I bought some Derby (Amazon) blades that are good for my use. I also bought some Israeli made safety razor blades @ my local Food City that I break in half (be careful) and they work great.
