    Perma Bond solder

Hi all, a friend gave me a 5 pound spool of Perma Bond PS-95 solder. I did a internet search for it but did not receive any hits. Does anyone know what the chemistry of this might be. The outer layer is dull and oxidized while inner layers are shiny, it is 1/8" diameter and soft. I'm guessing 95% lead and 5% tin or antimony????.

I would have expected it to be the other way around, 95% tin. But a google search shows shootinfox to be correct. It looks like its 94.5% lead, 3.3% tin and 2.2% antimony. If it were mine it would go head first into my next wheel weight smelt. Nice Score!
