You need to just set your sights to 400 and go from there. What are you sizing you boolits to incidentally?

Yeah your really not gonna have that cast bullet load hit to the 100 yrd sight setting for military ball it was set to . As said already easiest way is just adjust your rear sight . Or file down your front post .
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!
Write down your setting for your jacketed loads, then raise the rear sight. Once I started shooting cast in my MN, I never went back to jacketed. 16-18 grains of 2400 is my usual go to, although mine is not the least bit picky about loads. It loves Cast Boolits!
