    Al_Bundy baking PC differently than the manufacturer's specifications won't give you a full cure and the PC could be affected by the smokeless powder. If you want to take that chance it's up to you.
    Manufacturers specify that you bake at xxx° for XX minutes AFTER a certain condition is met.

    Be sure you are knocking off all excess powder. A thick coating will definitely "stick" more than a even thinner coating. Yet will still do everything needed form a PC bullet.

    the speckles are supposed to be there, like below but not as much

    Both are from Dollar Tree and they both work well!!
    the first is wider so you can build up more speed, the second one works well too but is kind of fat/tall and not as wide (I used that one on the yellow blend above.
