another 155 2r lee question in the BO

what overall length do you use? Some say powder coating prevents reliable chambering. What is your experience?

Powder coated Lee c309-160-R sized to .309.
I got an overall length gauge, mine ended up in the upper lube groove.

I have had zero luck with these and PC in the BO. The nose is so thick that the PC is shaved and prevents the round or the next round from going into battery. Look at the Lyman 311414, it is properly designed for this round. NOE makes a replica of the Lyman. Will be working with it this weekend in the baby blizzard we are expecting.

I use frankford arsenal mold release to reduce the diameter of the as cast before I powder coat, works for me.
