    .40SW hunting bullet load combo

Hey Folks ... Im a 100yard & closer 10mm/pig&deer hunter. I have used my Glock G20 & RIA 1911,... I have a Glock 22 that I really like, but wouldnt want to use it with factory loads, but am thinking about it with the right castboolit. Probably the Lee 170, of which I pour for the 10mm range rounds. I ve got the Lone Wolf barrels and am all set but I just havnt found any good .40SW loading data for the lead 170 for hunting. Comments appreciated as I dont wanna waste a lot of time unless its worth it TIA

I use a 165gr TC in my XDm 40, got a hog with it @ 25 or so, broke front leg & came out in jaw. 4.5gr 231 - not a max load. Tail shot went all the way through. Must shoot pretty flat, tried another holding over and it did go over. Never tried target shooting @ 50, eyes aren't good enough.
    Whatever!

I use Accurate 40-182H with 5 grains of Bullseye in my 5" Ruger revolver.

With my 180 grain flat point boolits dropped from an Accurate Mold, I use 8 grs. of Longshot. I water drop them, and gas check them.

8.6 grains Blue Dot has done me well with that Lee bullet in both a CZ75 and Hipoint Carbine

What are you trying to hunt?

I'd look at a 180+ grain wfn bullet.
