Help! Looking for mold options

I’m looking for a mold to cast for 38 Colt I want to find a 150gr heel base .375~ dia. There is a whole lot for around 200 bucks from old west bully molds but Lyman or ohaus/rcbs had to have one in production at some point. If I could get a mold number that’d be huge.

I believe Accurate and NOE have heeled molds in their catalogs for a whole lot cheaper than $200, most likely nicer to boot.

The old Ideal number for the .38 LOL was 358160. Haven’t seen a loose mould for one, but have come across a few Number 4 loading tools for the .38 LOL that have that mould on the end. Kind of hot to cast with, but doable.

You’d have to haunt e-bay or the other auction sites for a while, but they do show up occasionally.

Accurate Molds 38-140H or 38-160H maybe.

Since Tom can pretty much cut what you want, you might take a look at the 31-90AT and 32-085H for design inspiration. If I was shooting heeled rounds, I would definitely like to have those tumble lube bands up on the front section.
