454276 keith ruger only data sought

As popular as this mould is Ive not found as much printed load data as Id have expected. I'm looking for a White tail load for my 7.5" Bisley. The boolits are powdercoated.

I am going to start with 17.0 2400 and a standard winchester large pistol primer.

    What's your favorite ?
    Thanks Ben

I looked for that Lyman number; can't find it in any of my references. What is it and where is it listed?

    Load Info

Hi. Have a look here at John Linebaugh's writings. It's not exactly the same bullet, but the info is pretty close and will give you a good start. Most of the reloading info is about 2/3 of the way down. As for my .45 Colts, I have a 7.5" New Model BH Convertible, TC G2 Contender with 10" MTM barrel, and two lever guns. I have several "heavy" loads going from the 255 Keith all the way up to a sized down 330gr Gould Express HP (Lyman 457122.) Even if you PC, if you load them really hot, you may want to add a plain base Gas Check (Sage's Outdoors.)Hope that helps. Ed

If it is a 276gn bullet, you can use data for the rcbs 270 saa. There is plenty of data for that. I have a Brian Pearce article that lists three tiers of loads for that bullet. I would post a link if I knew how. If you want to pm me your email, I do know how to email it to you.
    I use 24.0gn of H-110 with the 270 saa.
