Hello,
Sometime this winter I am going to set up my Lyman 4500. Mine has a heater. I purchased several stcks of the Moly Ceresin lube off ebay last summer. Has anyone used this lube in .45 acp and or .44 Special? If so how did it perform?
Thanks.

I have tried Jakes years ago when I first started casting as it was easily bought on eBay. The 50/50 did ok for my pistol bullet. I tried some of the moly ceresin but didn’t care for it. It was always a very hard lube and it did okay but once I started using WLL I never looked back. WLL is my go to for everything now.
Never tried it with .45 ACP or .44 Spl. but did use Jake's on .41 and .44 Mag loads before I began doing PC. No leading issues that I can recall and much less smoke than anything containing Alox.

Thanks for the replies. I will try the Jakeks Moly. If I am not happy, I will switch to CBlue.
