So a friend of mine dropped by last night and gave me one pound each of 231, HS6 ,and HS7. I have never used any of these before and was wondering if any of them were suitable for reduced rifle loads, or were they just shotgun and pistol powders.

I prefer Red dot and Unique and 2400 for reduced rifle loads.
I have recently read that titegroup is a good one for reduced rifle loads, due to it's stability and position insensitivity, but never tried it. I haven't ever read were 231, HS6 ,and HS7 were suitable for reduced rifle loads...of course as soon as I type that, I suppose someone else will chime in with info to the contrary.
Here is a good thread to browse/search through, maybe 231, HS6 ,and HS7 are mentioned in one of these 144 posts?
