    30-06 resizing

Found a way to get shoulder set back reading without buying special equipment. Take 40 cail. Brass fit over 30-06 brass and measure to some point on datum line , before and after resizing, will give you idea about how far your pushing back shoulder. Just looking at differences In measurements.

One of the most endearing sights in the world is the vision of a naked good-looking woman leaving the bedroom to make breakfast. Bolivar Shagnasty (I believe that Lazarus Long also said it, but I can't find any record of it.)

    Have 1 better than that.

If you have go/nogo gauge do the same thing.... zero vernier

you then get plus/ minus from the go gauge from your sized case for the shoulder ..... .... plus/minus measuring error

you can also do this to check headspace on a fired round from you rifle

Make sure you mark/use the same case to use it as a true comparator
after determining actual required shoulder position ("bolt just closes")
    case headspace dimension.
