I think those of us who've lived thru the panics have stocked up. If not, we'll wish we had someday.

Buy now stash away. even if Trump wins in 6 years all will change
the new media is doing all they can to see Trump go down now and especially if he make it another 2 years ..
either way when the Dems get control again you will see many new restrictive gun laws.. get your supplies while you can

Having been through a few shortages I'm just maintaining now. Shoot a few, buy a few. No panic buying and no runs on components for me. If you're not well stocked up buying a little extra along would be a good idea.

Build yourself a "Root Cellar" then you can stop pimers & powder in a stable temperature (I would use an old Frig in it with a golden rod for humidity control). Besides; it would allow you to store vegetables and other stuff from the garden or....

Back in the summer of 2016, when I thought there was a good chance that Trump might lose to her (who will not be named).
22LR was still somewhat high priced, but I pulled the trigger on a case (5000) and haven't looked back...my 22LR habits have changed, so that purchase (and my other vintage 22LR stash of about the same size) should be enough for my lifetime, depending on grandchildren?

I think I am good for a year or so with main components. I buy a bit of each at a time, when I can afford it being on a limited income, and so "stocking up" any more is not likely gonna happen for me. I will just have to be "prudent" in making purchases & frugal in the use of them.

I do think I have a lifetime of lead though, at the rate I shoot, & using boolit traps I make to recover most, at about 1000 lbs. & re-usable for the most part, it should last me for a long time.

I would suggest to those who shoot a lot more than I to definitely stock up over time, if you can afford it, to cover your shooting needs & a little extra left over as ya shoot. IF anyone is not doing that already & is reading here, then they may want to re-think their future in hand loading & shooting, based on available supply & demand if they do not have some extra, "saved for a rainy day."

I’m well stocked, but to be honest, I’m kind of over it. I may add a little here and there, but once what I have is gone I’m gonna switch to a new hobby.

Two years out? I guess no one has been paying attention to AG nominee William Barr. If he’s confirmed it doesn’t look good for gun owners. I will keep it at that since this isn’t the pit. Democrat controlled house combined w/ an AG that has said “there's room for reasonable regulation on firearms laws and we may have another perfect storm. As for me, I will never post(anymore) what my current situation is. There could be problems well before 2020.

I'm probably good for the next TWENTY years rather than two. I'm not a hoarder per se, but I am an "accumulator" ...

I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!

Got more than a ton of lead, lots of brass and “enough” powder and primers. I think.38 Special is the new .22 LR.

There’s nothing better than having a good stock of everything you need. A lot better than money in the bank.

powder, primers and cast bullets I have. Been buying Federal auto mag and the federal 550 bulk pack every few weeks, And maybe one or two 150 round of the Federal M193 or M855 The auto mag does shoot well in my Ruger MKIII and the bulk packs aremostly for my 22's with the exception of the BSA single shot rifle I have. Still pecking away some old 22rf match ammo bought years ago. Green tag only have 500 rds and since we only have 1 gun store they don't stock it nor any primers or powders or jacketed bullets. O asked the dealer about that and he told me there isn't enough money in it for him to do so. The general concensus is that the older shooters aren;t buying like they used to, the mid grade shooters who are into the latest whiz bang cartridge and rifles don't shop there as he doesn't stock or sell what they want. So at least in my case I have to make a list and order it. I got a buddy to whon I'm gifting 15,000 federal large rifle primers and about 50 pounds of various powders. Now I stick with the old standby's like IMR 4895, IMR 4350,Unique, HP38. some WW231 and my favorite IMR4759 course when the latter is gone that's all she wrote. Frank
