    (TGIC) Powder Coating HAZARDS

I love powder coating and won't stop doing it -- BUT -- I will be more careful

well I dont eat it or drink it or swim in it, thats pretty much what it says to avoid, rubber gloves and a n95 mask and your good to go. like most paint or powder I'm sure it causes cancer in mice. watch out when you add dihydrogenmonoxide to it. good thing nobody has an msds for the fumes from smelting or it would be outlawed in several states. a little common sense goes a long way.

But I'm not the lab rat they test on. Motor oil has same warning, EU demanded the PC thing. Don't take a bath in Roundup either. Or maybe you can get $$ from the lawsuit.
Gee don't drink superglue either, has the same basic chemical.
    Whatever!

I once bought a block of salt for livestock. Pure salt, not the type with minerals added. On the label it had an expiration date of five years later. Can anyone imagine pure salt going bad?

One workaround is Powder Buy the Pound - they declare which ones are TGIC-free.

Kind of ironic were coating LEAD with another Hazardous material boys that is double danger. Just think someone really used those coated bullets and shot them out of firearm with burning powder and primers that produce even more Hazardous conditions. Granted the Hazards do not stop there just think of what you could shoot that would cause even more Hazards.

Do not think about this to much the headache you get may really be from the fumes around you and you will not be sure what to do then.
