Can we discuss maintenance of reels?

I am curious. I have some reels but wanted to hear thoughts on subject from the brain trust?
    Thanks

Yeah I figured it out. It would not be ALASKA……... unless it was the absolutely the toughest it could be and worst possible case scenario!

Reels need to be maintained pretty much the same way firearms do. Cleaned , lubed and adjusted as needed. I you are asking how to's , you need to be brand and model specific.

CLP works great for lubing the line guide bearing on spinning reels
