    Plain/bevel base 357 carbine loads?

I've managed 3moa or abouts out of my Ruger 77/357 with the Lee 158 RNFP (ACCOWW PC HF Red) over Promo at 1200 fps. I'd like to get up to 1400 fps or so, if possible. I've made a few feeble unsuccessful attempts with Herco and 2400, but thought I'd poll the audience before trying again.

Really like the Lee 158 RNFP in .357 Mag in both rifle and pistol. I have not yet PC'd that particular boolit. My H&R and Marlin 1894 will both cut clover-leafs at 50 yds with the Lee 158 over Promo 5.0 gr. in a .357 case. While I get great "rifle" results the the Lyman 358156 using Alliant 2400 I have not yet had great results with that powder and the Lee 158 gr.

    Conditor22,
That pic is from the pistol section. Look at page 186. It gives data from a carbine.

I have had no problems pushing all of my heavy ASBB PC boolits (160 to 210 gr) in 357 mag and 357 max to full power J Word max velocities with no loss of accuracy.

This has been with 2 Dan Wesson maximum revolvers and 3 contender barrels.

I have just assembled a rifle (357AR) to try my luck with 35s in a long gun.

I do not happen to use the boolit you are working with.
