I finally just loaded my last 3 lbs, of 846 in 5.56. I bought it at the knob creek machinegunshoot for $8 per pound over 15 years ago and I believe it was from Bartlett. That was probably 3 jugs of 8lbs. It has worked just fine in my M16A1. and 308 applications. If Bartlett (gi brass) has it again, I may get some again from him at the creek.

You can get from st auctions on gunbroker (as others have said) at a reasonable price i got 16 pounds of 846 for $153 after hazmat and shipping. Just don't be in a hurry they can take more than a month o ship but i did get what i payed for. Not sure how gunbroker gives them an a+ rating with so many bad ratings. Asked them and i guess it was top secret because just got the run around about they use recent feed back but the bad feed back was recent.i guess if they sell they are a+ as i have seen no other rating on there.
