    lube machines ?

Haven't been able to cast or reload all summer because of certain events happening in life..
    until this afternoon .
Cast up couple hundred Miha 402 HP's to get back into the swing of things ..
when done ,cleaned up and took stock of my lube set up.
forgot what machine had the 401 die in it ...then realized ,have I got too many machines ?
Can't turn a good deal down when you come across one (or more) ....
been out of touch for a while , time to get organized again.

I think that you definitely have enough lubers.

Looks like you have too many for sure. Send the stars to me for safe disposal.

Yeah, I have the same problem (can't turn down a good deal). I've got 2 450's w/heaters, 2 45's, and a Pitzer all doing their duty and dedicated to specific sizes and lubes. I only had 1 sizer (one of the 450's) for my first 20 years of casting but it sure is convenient to have multiple.

    I now feel inadequate. I have only a 450 and a Star.

Yes it is convenient , less work between calibers.
I have one heater Plate/body and all the lubers in the pic are mounted on "plates".
The heater body lays on the bench and I clamp down the luber/plate combo that I am using at the moment , yes , convenient .

At last count I had 10 lube sizers and I have no idea how many dies I have. I have stamped what die is in each sizer. It makes it a lot easier to grab and go. My favorite sizer is the RCBS. Several years ago I bought a cigar box full of dies, still have most of them. I once
listed five Lyman 45s for sale on this site at the same time. That was a mistake but I really should cut down the herd a bit.

I take masking tape and stick on the tube and use a magic marker to write the size on it cause I can't remember what I had for dinner yesterday much less what I lubed and sized two months ago.

If you get some small magnets or tags with string to hang on each luber-sizer and put a label on each, for each set of dies, then tracking what's where would be easier, seems to me?

Good idea as to marking each at the moment ...
Turns out I had to set up a 45 anyways for my 401 die as none were before this , guess it's been a while since I processed for 40 ..

Just taking a gander at my "collection", I have 3 Magma Stars, 5 Lyman 450's, and one Lyman (or Ideal?) 45. A sad disease we have, but I believe mine was/is fueled by inherent laziness compounded with shortage of free time (before I retired ). Hence, for me it was such a "pain" to change from bullet to bullet (compounded with the search for correct top punch on non-Stars), through the years when had the cash and one came up at an affordable price... I have a stringed hang-tag on each with bullet written on it attached to each. (The irony of this is I cast a coffee-can full of bullets this summer -- I need convert to this one... might #10 be the solution?)

I think the idea of just handing tags on the sizer with die # on it is a better idea that mine. Maybe I will do that, and then again maybe I wont. I am lazy too.

And I can't find one in my pay grade, there you set with more than you can use, at one time.........Just not right LoL.

I'd even take a OLD HERTERS, that I have to clean and paint up, and with NO dies, for a reasonable price.......... LoL

Leave some for the rest of us, OK Guys.

There was a Herter's lube sizer on Ebay.May still be listed. The price was not reasonable.Lyman lube sizers are frequently listed at reasonable prices.
