Dan - Drop me a PM. I collect brass at the range and can send you some 17 Winchester Super Mag to work with. I was thinking of trying to "Stretch the Envelope" to make them into .30 jackets some day; but the 270 is probably much easier.

They are based on a .27 caliber industrial blank- maybe ask around construction sites? The one .17 WSM Sav b-mag that I worked with was an inaccurate dog. I see it dying early- the great .17 HMR is here to stay, that niche is filled.
