    6.5 X 50 Arisaka Model 38 bore question ?

Can someone knowledgeable in these rifles Please tell me what the rifling is supposed to look like?
I have one with what I would call a pretty clean bore. There appears to be plenty of rifling but it seems very shallow almost like Marlin micro-groove It this normal? The soft lead slug measures .263"

Could the grooves be heavily metal fouled?

T38 arisaka barrels were rifled in the Metford Style. Polygonal rifling.

Lucky you with the .263" bore. Arisakas are neat.

Bore is very clean. Even Sweet's can't pull a blue color. Probably the cleanest Mil Surp Bore I have seen!

I have heard something about the way the bore looks just wanted to confirm! Think Bruce may have answered it.
.......lots of rifling just not looking like anything I have seen before in a Mil Surp!

Even when new, the rifling edges are not sharp. It takes some getting used to.
