It is formed from 30-30 brass.

    0.485" rim diameter (Not 0.506!)

    1.75" case length
    0.415 case diameter
    0.400" shoulder diameter
    1.325" case length to shoulder

    I don't have a use for this.

Could be anyone of a dozen wildcats from back in the day that were made from 22HP/219Zip/25-35/30-30 cases.

If you want to find out you need good pics of a case w/dimensions before we start digging thru our wildcatting books from the 30s/40s/50s/60s.

    Hey Brass
It is not Donaldson Wasp, you don't turn the rim down on them. Ken Howells "Designing and Forming Custom Cartridges" does not show anything in .22 cal with a .485 Rim diameter. My other books are all at Dad's, Sharpe, Nonte, Ackley etc.
Except to eliminate the Wasp I guess I am not much help

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? (Sgt. Oddball, KELLY'S HEROES)
