    AR Book

I'm a bolt gun guy, been shooting bolt guns competitively and barreling them for decades. But I would like to rebarrel my bone stock AR. I put off even buying it for years, but caved in. So what is a good manual on the dis-assembly, re-assembly and barrel details on one?

Here's a good place to start: Brownell's videos.

Clamshell 'block' for holding the upper and depending on the barrel nut, an armorer's wrench. Lots of variations of the barrel nut these days, often hand guard specific. Not really much to it, loosen & tighten the nut. Get specifics on the barrel extension, make sure you get one with proper feed ramps for the cal. you plan to use.
    Whatever!
