Could you mix a little turpentine back in the mix?

I made a bunch of pan lube for my 38's from many different ingredients I had on hand. There was enough that I haven't had to replenish in a few years, and now I have no idea what's in it. When I run out I'll have to actually look up someone's formula.

Old age and the meds that go with it accelerate the memory problem. I write down notes on anything not standard, and store the info in 2 places. Twice I've lost my stored info due to PC failure, and had to depend on hand written notes. Since nobody can see into the future, make sure your covered.
    Even Einstein kept notes.
    Information not shared. is wasted.

I find as I get older I need to develop systems/routines so I know where to look for stuff "like this kind of stuff ALWAYS goes here"

If you have a smartphone, what I find helps is when I need to remember something later, I text it to my E-mail.

I keep a reloading log book and I have a note section in it about gun/ammo stuff. I also have been using the note app on my phone a lot more recently for non gun stuff.

I buy the bound notebooks that are about 7 by 9 inch pages. They are $1.00 apiece. I put the month/year on the front.
I put one subject per page with the subject underlined. Such as Subaru Oil Changes or Troybuilt Lawnmower Info or Remington 700 Varmit Loads.
By repetitively going through the book you remember what is in it.
