    Good morning so far

I'm just gonna sit here and give thanks that I can watch the moon and sun square off.
I better get back to hunting

It's good to be in a place where you can observe and reflect on the many blessings we to often take for granted. Have a great day hunting!

Nothing like seeing and hearing the woods come alive as the sun lights up the morning darkness.
Enjoy your time afield and hope you see something wether you shoot or not seeing what you came out to see is just an added blessing.
I'm in the stand now with a bow. No deer or turkeys yet but plenty of squirrels and birds to marvel at.

BB, the thread "44-40 Stub Job" is still up on The Barrel Works section of the gunsmithing forum. It's a fun one.
I passed on a 50 yard offhand shot at a doe, then I played hide and seek with her for a little while. I decided to take her if she came closer - and she was- and then turned and ran off; joined by a bigger rump & flag. Probably her boyfriend! SO I still hunted back to the house where breakfast was waiting- a perfect hunt before Church.

    Texas by God,

I like both the stub and liner barrel creations. Jedman man lives up the road from me and he has brought a number of my dreams to life.

    Merry Christmas!

    Thomas,

I think I know why that doe would not come any closer to you. Your boots are not CAMO !
I'm sure you will score with that deadly 44/40 soon.
    Have a Happy Christmas !

admirable, most of us don't know enough to stop and reflect on how fortunate we really are and before we know it, life, true life, has passed us by and all we have to show for it, is possesions no memories of sunset/rises memorable occasions or all the little things to think about and remember when time catches up and makes us all equall
