    WTB 303 stocks/hardware

I was gifted a WWII era SMLE. It had all the original stock/hardware replaced. I need everything from butt plate to nose cap.

I would like to return it to original condition. I figured I would start here before going the commercial route.

    Thanks,

    15meter

It would help to know which number and mark of rifle you have. The No.4 Mk1 and No,4 Mk1* are common, but many No.1 Mk3rifles were also used during that period but their furniture and hardware is quite different and not interchangible.

Does your rifle resemble this one, or is it different?

I want to say the mark III Stocks are easier to track down than the no4mark1.

I had a hard time finding wood for a no4. A fellow forum member hooked me up

BRP for the metal bits. That sounded British even.

Sorry i haven't gotten back with specific model, I've been at the hospital for the last 2 days with my mother (93). I need to get in the shed to verify model. With my memory, I can't remember. Her memory at 93 is better than mine!

Finally had time to dig out the action, #4 MK1, Long Branch, made in 1943.

I need almost everything, I think I have a stock bolt and that is about it.

Before I go commercial I thought I would see if anyone here had stuff that was taking room like me.

You know, too good to throw out but don't have a clue where or when you will every use it
