    Quality of CH Reloading Dies

Just recently picked up a K31 rifle and ordered K31 specific dies for it from the CH4D company. Used brand new PPU brass which I naturally full length resized before chamfering the case mouths. Loaded up a moderate load using Hornady FMJBT bullets and IMR 4064.

Checked the runout on my RCBS concentricity gauge. All cartridges measured less than .001" runout and the majority were half that. Super good quality reloading dies. Rifle is a very good shooter, (1.5" at 100 yards).

Among my 50 or so sets of dies, I have several sets of C-H dies and they're all good quality, and on a par with most of the other well known brands.

    Hope this helps.

About like Fred, I have several of their die sets and have nothing but praise for them. Especially if you need something uncommon. Just finished loading some 9.3 X 57 with a set of CH-4D dies.

Great dies and if you haven't talked to Dave at C&H, it would be worth you while to give him a call. A real helpful guy who knows his reloading equipment. james

I got a set back when my .500 a-square was still fun to shoot. Fantastic dies and I was impressed with how quickly they were sent. Sure would like to find a 333 press some day.

CH4D are my preferred brand. Anytime you see someone who uses them they are usually knowledgeable about reloading gear or got them from a Father or Uncle who knew. My first set was for a K11 Schmidt-Rubin, but it wasn't the last set .
All you see talked about now is RCBS.
