    of all the luck

been hunting hard here for the last week since our general gun deer season ended
Muzzleloader for 1 week and now a 4 day doe season did not see any deer during the week of ml and the first 2 days of doe season. So today I was getting to the end of another deerless day when low and behold I see a deer 200 yds out so I crank up my scope to channel 9 and low and behold its a buck now this would have been a perfect shot with my new Win m70 sg in 30-06 cal and a nice way to break it in
I swear if I didn't have bad luck

    well thats hunting anyway
I had the same thing happen to me a couple of years ago
had a trophy buck standing 15 yds away from me for about 10
minutes surveying his kingdom before moving on
    then 1 more time
my neighbor has about 12 rows of red pine planted about 2 acres
in length they are about 20' tall just enough to see under
had this buck another big boy running back and forth the length of pines
turns out he had a doe corralled in there and would not let her out
    that was neat to witness
never got a shot at that doe but I don't know if I would have ruined his
    romance in the first place
