Is there anyone here would actually has a TC Scout rifle that could be so kind to take me a pic of the ramrod retaining spring and how its attached to the rifle.All thats needed is just to remove hand guard and snap a pic.The one i just purchased as a factory replacement doesnt seem to be it. Ive already heard some folks say they all use the same but its not fitting or working. you could post in this thread or email to bill@chesterfreedom.com.

I have a loose one, too. Seems the mounting screw for the spring is supposed to be proud and thus rub on the ram rod. At least that seems to be what I need to make it quiet & secure. Before I really get into it, I plan on using a rubber band to get me through he season. Couple wraps around the barrel / rod and it's secure & quiet. Not my idea of ideal, but for now it'll do.
