Many years ago, we got second place at a police team competition. They had a convention that year in the city. It was just two of us on our team, but we missed getting first by a couple of points. Maybe if my partner hadn't gone out drinking and staying up late the night before things would have been different, but that is life.

I got myself an Xmas gift already too.

Sweet pea shooter Earlwb, especially in 45acp, and that didn't happen to be a Texas Ranger conference did it?

Nope, just a regular law enforcement convention. The hosting city typically stages a shooting competition to coincide with the convention.

Thanks. It is pretty neat. But lighting off .45 ACP rounds with those tiny grips makes for some stout recoil. I am only good for around ten rounds before the recoil does me in with one shooting session. I got a .22LR barrel so I can practice more though. I am waiting on getting the jumbo grips before I try out the .45/.410 barrel.

I know only one photo counts but I snapped this one after helping set up for a monthly match I thought it looked pretty cool
