    Old stuff in the shop

I've an old display case in the shop- been picking up old stuff for a while at yard sales to fill it up.

I like such displays myself. There's one above my loading bench and one on a small shelf in the house entryway. And I've been collecting visually appealing Starrett precision tools to make a shadow box display.

Very cool... in the first pic, right behind the old lighter is a brass shotshell. Is that a 10 gauge?

That looks alot like the ammo display case in an old hardware store near where I grew up back in the `50`s and `60`s. Thanks for bringing back that memory.Robert

It is, elsewhere I've another oddball, an aluminum .410 shell- from an old Air Force survival kit.

Like some of the previous posters, I have stuff that I bought in my younger days. It is very old. Then, I have some stuff that is actually older than me. It is ancient!
