    Need load

    I have a mess of White super slugs in .50 cal 480 gr. I want to shoot them in my .50 renegade,I shot them with 95 gr. stiff but they were accurate I don't want to blow up though!

    I was always told that if there's no hammer lift with stock parts you're good to go . My TC Hawken lists a max charge of 90 gr FFg for 320 gr Maxi balls and 110 for PRB . A .490 weighs 185 gr .

    When I was dealing T/C just listed 120 gr of BP as max. No bullet weight listed. BP really can only generate 20,000 CUP unless it has a lot of fines in it.

    That was my argument to myself,pretty much,just thought a. Second opinion would be good to hear or even a third,I also knew of the 120 gr.max thing and also that they did not spec. A bullet for 120 gr.
