Bought a Steyr C9-A1 9 mm pistol earlier this year, and was very happy with the grip, trigger pull and accuracy. Dug out some hand loads from several years ago, and ran into a problem with some Remington 115 grain JHP's that had a longer OAL than any previous ammo I had shot. First round would fire, but the slide would not go into battery after the brass was ejected. Sure enough, the rifling had no taper past the chamber. I have sent several revolvers to Doug Guy for work on the cylinder diameters and forcing cone. They always came back ready to shoot boolits with greater accuracy. He tapered the rifling, and crowned the muzzle for me, and the pistol shoots all my ammo with 100% reliability. As before, a pleasure working with him.
