I used to go to Hobby machinist, or something like that, but didn't care for the way they pushed for money.
There were some good people there.
I'm now on Machinist Web.
Good people, but not to much action there.
Also on some of the yahoo forums, but I find there format is a pain to navigate.
I'm still learning how to do stuff, but having fun.
Any suggestions on a good learning, and machine information, forum????

I visit Hobby Machinist probably the most of all the machining sites I've looked up. As far as their money gathering techniques, I mostly ignore them but sometimes contribute. There is another site that I visit to gather project suggestions and machining tips and that's : http://www.homemetalshopclub.org/projects/project.html . Both are very good sites for maching info and suggestions. I get a lot of info from Utube; Mrpete222 and for EXPERT info and machining technical info; Joe Pieczynski. All good stuff.
