Sighting a Stoeger .177 with scope

I am trying to sight my air gun at the range with a sand bag on the bench. I am not steady enough to hold at same point each shot. Would using a
Tipton Gun Vise work OK. I may be able to use a c-clamp to anchor it. Also, how repeatable at 25 yards should it be?
    Thanks,

A Springer does not respond well to being held tight or shooting from the bench. I would recommend leaning your lower body against something for a steady offhand shot.
Look up "artillery hold". I really means the gun is held loose and allowed to recoil in Its own.
" If you cant do it with a 308 , you dont need to do it!

Thanks, I will try that. This 76 yr old body is hard to control any longer.
