    Product Description

Get more bang for your buck! Federal Black Pack ammunition offers the same reliability and precision that customers have come to expect from Federal. Now offered in the Black Pack with 1600 rounds per box.

Plinking. Targets. Competition. Training. Whatever rimfire pursuit drives you, you'll get accurate, affordable performance with Federal rimfire ammunition. The reliable bullet, priming and brass are suited to a wide variety of rimfire range applications.

    Ammo Specifications

    Caliber: 22 LR
    Bullet Weight: 36
Bullet Style: Copper Plated Hollow Point
    Muzzle Velocity: 1260 fps
    Muzzle Energy: 127 ft-lbs
    Quantity: 1600 Rounds per box

Looks like typical Federal bulk ammo. Can't be any worse than Remington Thunder Duds. I'd get it just for plinking. Might not cycle well in some semi-autos bring a bolt action as a back up. lol

I bought one yesterday at the La Pine Bi-Mart. Also had Black Packs of .45 and 9mm.

Straight price would be great. Rebates are a pita.

I agree that straight price would be great. But they’re hoping that people don’t take the time to submit the paperwork. I ordered three cases from PSA. Can’t beat free shipping and no tax. Should have ordered five but I don’t know if this stuff will run in all of my 22s. I’m hoping it’s like M22 because that’s the only ammo that works on all of mine.

I've had no problems getting rebates, however some have been a fairly long wait. I think I will go for it. Thanks for the replies.

Rebates don't bother me especially when it means $.02/rd

I bought some, one case before the rebate started and a couple more this morning. So far we’ve shot a couple hundred rounds through a 10/22 and an old Ruger Standard. So far zero misfires or malfunctions. We weren’t shooting paper targets except for a single 10 round group from the Standard pistol at 25 yards, that measured a little under 2”. That’s not bad at all for that old pistol.

The Bi-Mart where the Federals were on sale is in the next town. Called a friend and asked him if he would pick up a box for me. He picked up three, one for me and another friend and one for himself. When I went to pay him he said just $30 and he would send in for the rebate. Wow, 1600 rds. for $30 and I didn't have to fool with the rebate. Great deal and a great friend!

I got my five cases, figured I'm set for a little while!??

The guys over on RFC are sure that this was loaded at the CCI plant per the manufacturer codes and they also claim that it's closer to CCI Mini Mags than any load from Federal??

At pre YoBomma pricing I'm willing to take a chance.

I'm pretty happy with it. We ran out to the range today and shot another 150 rounds. At first they were jamming up badly in the 10/22, but then I realized something was up with the BX25 magazine. I unloaded and reloaded it, and they ran like clockwork after that. No misfires. I shot ten rounds through the Ruger Standard, carefully from sandbags, and got a 10 shot, 1.5" group. Ten rounds through the 10/22, also at 25 yards, measured .4", just a ragged hole. Yes, it seems to be very decent ammo. I'm glad I bought 8k rounds. Now I won't be interested in even looking at .22lr ammo for sale for years.

Eh. I grabbed a couple of boxes of these. Was hoping they were the Champion bucket as that shoots great for the grand kids in their Rascals and in my sr-22.

I got my 5 boxes in the mail from PSA yesterday, they do like to take they're time in getting your rebate out to you that's for sure. I took part in the 2nd amendment T-shirt /range bag promo federal had earlier this year and it came like 2 months later i had actually forgotten about it when the package came. But like others have said for the cost per round after rebate it works for me

Bi-Mart is a store like Costco located mostly in the western states. They also have powder cheaper than most any other place I have seen.

I bought some from PSA. Fairly good price without the rebate. I just filled out the online rebate form and about decided it wasn't worth the $20 rebate. Getting the pictures of the UPC code, receipt and box to load was just about beyond my patience level.

It took me less than five minutes to take all the pics, create a pdf of the UPCs and fill out the form. I’m glad I didn’t have to physically send anything in. I don’t see how what they wanted was hard to complete. It was even set up for mobile so you could do everything on your phone, which I didn’t do. This makes it more accessible to everyone.

I think the problem was mainly the dough head running the computer, but for some reason after loading all the pictures and submitting it only would recognize 1 picture. I would have to add the rest of the required pictures and it would only recognize one additional picture. I had to resubmit the rebate form 5 times to get it to take the pictures and the box you had to check saying you accepted their terms and conditions. By the fifth time I had about decided it wasn't worth $20
