Waiting for my rebates for 3 cases of 22LR and 2 of 9mm. 5 rebates was the max allowed per household. That’s $100 and I did it the old fashioned way of sending it in. This was a pre-black Friday sale at Academy. I bought the last 3 cases of 22, if they had more, I would have bought 5 cases of 22. Life is good.

I bought one around Thanksgiving. You can submit your rebate online using a photo of the box labels and your receipt. I did it and they sent me an email telling me it had been accepted. Not too difficult.

I haven’t shot any of it yet and probably won’t get around to opening it for a few years. I have quite a bit of older ammo I need to go through first.

One of the problems I have encountered is that the last few rebates I got send you visa gift cards instead of a check. I much would prefer cash/check.

I noticed that too. I suspect they do that to encourage you to spend the gift card on ammo, instead of putting it in the bank. Shrewd move. Plus it's another chance for a gift card to get lost and never redeemed.

I'm like you though. I'd much rather have money to put in the bank than a stupid card to carry around in my wallet.

I quit shopping at bimart when they went anti 2nd amendment. They refuse to sell any ammo to anybody less than 21 years old. I dont much like discrimination, age is a protected classification, and rights are being trampled. Even though it is legal for a 20 year old to buy a box of shotgun shells or 22lr, bimart wont sell to them.

I got a box of 5250 a few months ago, and this price beats what I paid.
The ammunition is excellent quality for the $$$

I bought a couple cases from Academy, here in OKC and also sent mine in the same way. Wish I had bought more. It seems to run real good in my Smith 22A, and Ruger MK I. It also seems decently accurate in a bolt rifle.
Oklahoma. Quite possibly the reddest state in the U.S.A. 77 counties, 2 elections, and not a single one went for B.O. Uh make that 3 elections, we didn't care much for Hillary either.

    Holy Mackeral!
Must have been a big jump in inflation the last month. I just came from my local Bi Mart, and the Black Packs of 22 LR are 74.97. I was expecting around 55.00 to 60.00. Foolish me.
That's about the way things go, huh? That calculates out to 4.6 + per round. Although, that still beats their 7.99 for a 100 count of CCI Mini Mags.

Those of you that have shot it, do your rifles shoot it to a different point of aim than other ammo? I ask because it's 36 grain and the 'normal' bullet weight is 40 grains. They're saving a little money on 4 less grains of lead per round.

This stuff looks just like CCI to me; which is also 36 grain when you get the HP version. The internal plastic holder (with no feet) is also just like CCI SV. I shot some groups last week and was surprised at how well it did, about 3/4 inch @ 50 yards. It DID group about an inch away from 40 grain WW Power Point.

    Hey fellas:
I just bought a Black Pack of 22 LR for 59.97 at Sportsmans Warehouse in Albany Oregon. This
Sale is for "stock on hand". That computes to 3.74 cents per shot. Bi-Mart price is 74.97.
    Just sayin.

BiMart has been having some fairly good sales on ammo the last few weeks, I was at two of the stores today and both had AMPLE supply of ALL the loadings offered in "BLACK PACK" from Federal, I bet it will be on sale again sooner rather than later?
