Charles called me a bit ago and is in his room getting over the anesthesia . Procedure was finished and he hopes to go home tomorrow . He is relived it is done . I know he apricates the prayers and support from all here . Just need to continue with more prayer .

Father God. I thank you for the good report that Charles is doing will and may be going home. I pray that you will heal his body and give him strength. I pray that he will gain the needed weight now that he has the feeding tube in. Continue to be with the doctors and care givers and give them wisdom and knowledge. In the name of your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen

Thanks for the update, and praise God for the results. Now, he has to live with this, which constitutes a radical change to his daily proceedures. But at the same time, nobody really understands or appreciates the value of life, and all it brings, than one who's had to change much in his life just to stay here yet a while longer. GK Chesterton once said that the highest form of human thought, he believed, was appreciation. It's a shame we have to be brought so low to really understand that simple principle. But .... what if we never understood it? God works things His way, so that we can benefit from the things that face us, even the less than joyful ones. The big thing is whether we get the point in it all.

God bless you Charles, and may God walk with you daily, and ease any rough spots in the road. Amen.

jusy a quick in. Took food via the tube 2 times today.I am home and the tummy hurts and will fora few days.

Talked to Charles a while ago . He sounded better , trying to get feeding times figured out with the new tube . He was looking forward to doing some physical therapy as soon as possible . Please continue in prayer for him .

First off, Merry Christmas to all. Just got off the phone with Charlie, he is doing well and slowly gaining weight and seems in good spirits. Your continued thoughts and prayers are surely appreciated.

Good morning board.

After 4 weeks on the tube feeding i feel stronger and see signs of weight gain. The bigest problem is My knees, pain almost all the time.
I walk with the walker between the bed and recliner (6 feet) with knees ace bandage wraped. Go back in for a tube change the 14th of Jan.
