    A bit of humor

A recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found that on average,Americans drink 22 gallons of alcohol a year.
That means the average American gets about 41 miles to the gallon.
This was pilfered off the web.
    Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.

I must not be "average" -- a pretty much non-drinker and with my bum leg, happy of I could do nine miles (total) a year. However, I join in wishing all the wonderful persons on this site a safe U S Thanksgiving. With all the disaster faced, nationwide, we "fortunate ones" who were not victim to hurricane, tornado, flood, or -- the most horrific California fires -- indeed have ever so much to be thankful for. With, of course, those not so fortunate in my prayers.

Dose that mean that I run on bio-fuel?
We go through life trying to make the best decisions we can based on the best infomation we can find, that turns out to be wrong.

I'm probably not logging my 900 miles anymore. But back in the day, with a physically demanding job, I probably covered more than 900 miles a year. Interesting data for sure!

I have home delivery for mail and today I asked the Mailman how many mile he walked delivering Mail, His answer, 10 1/2 miles per day. That would add up to a considerable amount Per Year.

I'm thankful I don't have to log the miles I once considered normal. At 41 mpg I'd have run dry almost every day. In front of one station the cement surface wore (over 38 years) to show the gravel in it.
    Information not shared. is wasted.
