    Wts Unfired .45 Flintlock pistol W. Moore/ P. Bondini

Found this in a relatives stuff when he passed. box was falling apart. had some flash rusting around the letters which came off with an oily rag but you can see the discoloration. Other than that it is a fine, well built pistol with cut checkering and is unfired. I have no use for it. $300 shipped OBO.

I'm possibly interested in this but have a couple of questions.

    What is the barrel length?

Does the pistol have a vent liner or just vent hole drilled in?

My eyes aren't the best and I'm having trouble reading what is on the barrel. Can you post the wording on the barrel, etc. - is it marked as to the maker? Can you remove the lock and do a close-up of the inside of the lock and internal parts as well as the outside of the lock?

May be unshot - what is the condition of the bore? Bright and shiny - dark - any surface rust in the bore?

    Many thanks!

Barrel length is 10”, it appears to have a liner but appears to be factory.
On top of the barrel it says W.MOORE
On left side it says made in Italy and has some proof marks.
On right side it says ( where the discoloration is) black powder only cal .45 and has the makers proof PB.
On the side of the lock it says LONDON
    Bore is immaculate

This is a new gun, unfired, it didn’t even have the flint in it when I found it. I put one in a few years ago to show my kids how it worked but that’s it. If it wasn’t for whatever was in the box discoloring the barrel it would be perfect.
I could take the lock off but the screws are nice and sharp and I don’t want to risk buffering them up unless it’s for good reason.
