What is this antique mold for?

Here is an old mold,it has no markings at all.

It drops a 400 grain projectile, .63" wide base, 1" long... or is this even a projectile?

There is a hole in the bottom, that's why the funny nose tip.

I gave it a couple of pours while melting some alloy mix for ingots.

What is this for? Ideas appreciated.

Looks like someone custom bored a mold out to make that cone shape?

My grandpa did the same thing to an old Ideal 311413 in order to make his lead sinkers for fishing.

Fishing weight. The hole is for the spindle to attach the line.
