Bird. Your right. I had minimal success it seems. So in my frustration I began taking apart these cases. All dropped into the chamber completely no issues there, so I began taking measurements and found on the boolit a that would not chamber the nose read .300-.302. On the boolit that did chamber .298. So now I need to figure out by the variation of the nose. Could it be the lube a matic? Seating stem of die? Seems to me the throat on this is very narrow

If your .298 bullet came from the same mold and alloy, you need to ask yourself what you did.
If I want smaller diameter bullets I would get the mold hot and cast frosty bullets, and maybe even quench them.
If I wanted smaller still, I would add more pure lead to the mix.
What alloy are you using?
I have had bullets that are 2 thou oversize and are engraved by the rifling when chambered. The action closes with a little resistance, if the bullets are not too hard.

After a few happenings like this, I started doing my crimping in a separate die. It cured most such problems. Yes, there's the added expense of a crimp die, but the results are worth it.

From the picture in post 40, it looks like your barrel was rifled
with the same tool as mine, a Marlin 30AS with microgroove
rifling.

If the engraving is on one side of the boolit, concentricity in
seating is likely still an issue. I mentioned my solution earlier.

Also, the advice Outpost 75 gave me is appropriate:
get a mold that casts a nose more suited to your rifle.

Having said all that, I use Lee and NOE push-thru
sizers so there is little possibility of plumping up
the nose diameter as may be happening with
your lube-sizer.

End result for me: my 30AS is now a tack driver.

An issue I found when loading for my .308s with Lee dies was when my die was set too long in the press my bullets would not be concentric. I screwed the die down to nearly touch the case mouth and seated the bullets and the problem went away. This may be an issue.
