    zveroboy fragmenting slug mold

Can someone that has this mold get me a couple measurements and answer a couple ?'s

How long is the slug before the wad is attached?

And what have they been running for diameter for you? One of my guns has a rather large barrel ID.

How much are they weighing with the lead you are using? What are you using if you know?

What wad did you end up using?

.705 length, .725 diameter, weighing in at 525 grains with pure lead. I am using a gas seal from BPI that I use for my shorty buckshot loads. I am still in the testing process and using what I have on hand. At this time I have had halfway decent results using the FS12 gas seal attached with a 5/8 #4 zinc screw over a 1/8 nitro card. Hulls are Fiocchi trimmed to 2.5 inches and roll crimped. I am using Lyman data for the 525g pellet with Longshot. I'll be trying out the BW12 bush wads next, it looks to be a bit longer. It will take me about a month to try out all the different combinations I have in mind and will start a new thread with my results. This working stuff is for the birds, takes up all your time for fun and load development!

BTW, my grandfather moved to Michigan from Clinton, IA. Always wanted to go for a visit though it most certainly is nothing like it was in his youth.

I use the BP 20's which you can't get in the states. I had a guy on my facebook slug page send me 1,000 of them. It's the green wad you see them attached to in all the advertising. I also have the BP18's which is a hair shorter than the 20's. I think the 18's will do the trick. I get keyholing with the 20's except when I load them with Longshot.

I was thinking FS12 in a shortened hull too(not so sure about using X12X). I'm waiting on mine, and was looking for the length when I found your post.
I'm definitely looking forward to your load development progress.

I use the gualandi brush wad or L078 lighting with the cup cut off. Perfect

I"m using one X12X gas seal, one "brush wad" and a healthy charge of Blue Dot in a virgin 16mm clear hull.

    Fits perfectly, and roll crimped.

Screw them to any gualandi wad base with petals removed is the best way. Mine's 3 or 4 way segmented depending on which core pin. From as company ( shimitova slug) svarog are horrible molds in my experience. A.S. are bigger diameter also
