Just found out today there was such a critter, alas, discontinued. Thought several would be cool to match the colors of my wifes Christmas present. Anyone still have any in the package that they can be talked out of?

Buy some Magpul Gen 3 Sand colored mags and die them Barney color...
have you checked here? They said they would be making more just like the red ones. I've also seen (waiting to try myself) getting the clear ones and using the Rit dye for synthetics and dying them yourself. check out gun mags warehouses Instagram feed. hope this helps?
