    WTT/WTB Barrel Slugs

I need to slug a few barrels and need a few slugs. I'm not sure if this is the right place to look so move if needed moderators.
    I have two 30 caliber (308) barrels and a 25-06.
Probably need 4-5 slugs for the 308's and 2-3 for the 25-06.

I have some lead, brass (pistol and rifle), J-words to use in trade.
PM me if you can help!
    Thanks!

You can get appropriately sized lead at most fishing supply locations. Sinkers and split shot are made from soft lead. Just get some near the right size and drive them in. They will deform to fit the barel as long as they are reasonably close.
The spit shot gives you plenty in a bag to do however many you need.
Not certain of the difference in size of the buckshot. If you need to make it larger in diameter, just squash it a bit(pliers, hammer, vise) until it is the size you need.

Anyone have a 32 S&W short brass casing I could use to make my own slugs?

I use .32 or .36 cal lead roundball for black powder guns to slug my .30 cal and .303 cal guns.

Drill a 5/16 hole in a piece of wood and pour the lead in let it cool and pop it out

This is what I did when I slugged my 30 cal's. I also put a slight taper on one end of the slug, to facilitate entry. Make sure you lube your bore well, and the slug, too. Make sure your bore is clean before slugging.

Barrel fishing weight of the appropriate size
    or
Cast the biggest pure soft lead boolit of the correct caliber and use that
    for the 308 I use my 311-232-FN

I pretty much do the same thing for any caliber I want to slug.

    Works like a charm

I'm a fan of the little egg shaped sinkers you can buy from Walmart. And they come in plenty different sizes.

I take a 44 cal bp ball and run it thru my 410 or 359 lyman sizing die. Trims off excess and makes a cylinder or slugging.

I would cast some 30 caliber boolits out of pure lead and put them in a vice and squish them lengthwise to increase the diameter.

This worked well for me in the past.
