    My new reloading room

After a bad fire in 2015 I had a loft built in my garage where I do light gunsmithing, reloading and clock repair. I'm planning to build some more in-the-wall cabinets to hold brass, bullets etc. The cabinet on the far right is for dies, I got tired of un-stacking and re-stacking them. In addition to lights I had two skylights installed, one in the loft and the other over the stairs. Most days I don't have to turn the lights on to workClick image for larger version.

dude you are so busted, you have been out hunting for a week and your swmbo has had a good time tidying up your cave. good luck finding those ejector springs and sight screws you left at the edge of the bench.

Is that floor I see? Can I get confirmation? I don't recall seeing that sort of broad flat low surface anywhere near a reloading bench for a long time but I'm pretty sure it's a floor!

A most excellent workspace. Judging from the "workshop" I have no doubt your gunsmith work is done carefully and correctly.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

The only problems I can see, is there is no heating pad for the backrest on the work/reloading bench chair.

And if that's your definition of a "cluttered" room, then you, Sir have a severe case of ocd.

Very nice, but that broom needs to be in the corner , you may trip over it. Love your die set up.

Yes, I built the cabinet to fit the space I had. The dividers are made of 1/4" plywood notched so the vertical and horizontal pieces slide together to make a solid joint. It does simplify finding the dies I want. It looks big but I am worried that I will run out of room in it some day.

No, no ocd. My wife says that I and our five kids have CDO, that's ocd in alphabetical order. It's not true in my case but, I will admit that I have mild case of PHD as in (pile it higher and deeper) as can be seen in my shop. After the fire I lost quite a bit of floor and cabinet space due to a new mechanical room and stairs for the loft. I hope to solve part of the problem next spring with a new garage/storage building out back.

I envy you that Beautiful setup, I'll go along with the rest of the guys. That die cabinet is fantastic.
Makes me wish I lived several hundred miles to the north. I'd drop by with a big thermos of coffee.
But I'd guess you've probably got a coffee pot setup too.
