Just checked the S H cross reference in Lyman Hand book #46 and LCBHB #4, neither one lists a lyman #16

Measurement of the shell holder across the "ID" and "OD" dimensions might let us guess better if the manufacturer cannot help, also.

Found this:..For use with Lyman older Presses ( Tru-Line Jr/ All American Turret / & Comet).
    Fits: 45 Colt; 45 Schofield; 44-40: 44 Mag; 44 Spl; 8mm Mauser; 6.5x57R Brennke; 8x57 JRS.
This is no longer manufactured! "J" Type Shell Holder

The above nfo got from some one who collects / sells old equipment

    FROM LYMAN via email:

" That was used for 8x57 JRS it is essentially a rimmed 8mm Mauser"

    I aplogize for the error...
and forwarded my info to the person that collects it..
