    Contest topic: Factory Rifles

Whether they are Rugers, Benjamins or Rigby's they need a home here

Now this should be a good and easy topic to get a lot of photo entries. I know I have a cheap Savage with a beautiful Boyds stock ...that I need to take some photos of for another reason....So one of those photos should show up in this thread before thanksgiving

New contest format. New rules. See link for rules.

How about my .45 Cal Percussion Target Rifle with set triggers for a start. It is a nice shooter, lots of fun. Yes I have a bullet mold for it too.

Sav. 99 in 300 Sav. I acquired the rifle with no iron sights and a scratched up stock. I refinished the stock to my liking and put a nice scope on it, never been able to find any replacement sights. Shoots cast lead bullets like it was built for it.

Mossberg Patriot in .375 Ruger. I know it's not a real DGR and I have nicer stuff, but I have kinda taken a liking to this one.

Marlin made XLR 1895 in 45-70. It just loves my powder coated 405's. I'm sure the ballard rifling and the 24" barrel helps.

I looked at Photobucket a while after they blocked all my pictures from being viewed. But at the time they wanted $400 a year to unlock the pictures. So I deleted all of my pics there and cancelled the account. Later they fired the President of the company as they lost a lot of customers and very few were signing up. Now their current plans tend to be somewhat more palatable, but I don't know if i want to pay $48.xx dollars a year for even the basic service. I still am unsure if they will allow the pics to be linked in other websites or not.

I am a new member to Cast Boolits. I have been casting Boolits since the 70's & shooting photos since the late 50's and I love the Digital Cameras.
The photo is my Marlin 1895 GS in 45/70. Love this rifle.......

Suspect this will get me a weeks suspension for Gun Porn....but it will be worth it.

Rigby in 470 Nitro Express--it's sort of a factory rifle, just a very slooow factory.

Not the oldest, possibly the moldiest...

JP Sauer and Son's Stalking rifle in 360 BPE (and marked as such). Serial dates it to 1897. It has a decent but slightly dark bore, and shoots 190 grain bullets alright, but would probably be happier with the 150 grain HP's it was designed for. Has a 2 leaf express sight, but the ranges are unmarked, and with my heavier bullet don't quite correspond to any normal ranges...

Collecting .32 molds. Please let me know if you have one you don't need, cause I might "need" it!
